However, many organisations still rely on generic platforms, originally designed for the procurement of products, which fail to address the technical complexity and progressive nature of FM. These tools tend to be difficult to use, offer limited traceability, and lack the ability to manage multi-stage processes (RFI, RFP, RFQ). In a context where transparency, traceability and document security are paramount, there is a pressing need for a specialised digital solution. This solution must be aligned with professional methodologies and emerging technologies, while improving overall process management without compromising accessibility.
The challenge lies in developing a digital platform specifically designed for the tendering of Facility Management services, structured into phases (RFI, RFP, RFQ) and aligned with the FMHOUSE methodology. This solution should standardise the process, minimise errors, streamline management times, and provide full traceability of all actions undertaken. It must incorporate cross-validation mechanisms, secure access, immutable record-keeping, and a collaborative environment in which clients, suppliers and advisors can all participate. The platform should be intuitive, even for non-technical users, and should utilise blockchain technology to certify each milestone, thereby ensuring transparency, evidential value, and control throughout the entire tendering lifecycle.
This tool will enable the centralisation of the entire tendering process within a secure environment, eliminating the use of parallel channels such as email or shared repositories. By integrating a configurable workflow and mechanisms for certified traceability, it will ensure more agile, controlled processes that meet demanding technical standards. The solution will facilitate informed decision-making, reduce reputational and legal risks, and enhance coordination among all involved parties.
